Irvin Trucking Services is managed by Johnny Irvin, a 30 year industry veteran. After college I started to work at Fepco Trucking as a company driver. I felt it was good to have experience within an industry at all levels. It was obvious that I had skills beyond driving, and purchased my own truck, and leased it on to Fepco Trucking for 5 years. There I learned management principles, business finance, operation, safety and mechanical skills during that time. With the experience I received at Fepco Trucking, I decided to open my own business in the trucking industry. Wayne Smith, the CEO of Fepco Trucking, was a big help to me throughout my years of working with him. Wayne gave me the confidence I needed to move forward. To this date, we still keep in touch.

We all are having challenging times now due to the COVID-19. Irvin Trucking Services decided to donate our services to the United Food Force a (food bank) located in McDonough, Ga. and FL. In 2020 during the COVID -19 shut down. They get 2 million pounds of food donated monthly, that have to be moved.
Transportation is one of their biggest expenses: while many carriers were busy hauling other supplies, the food bank needed help in transportation . I donated my trucking service to help with that demand. Now that the country is starting to reopen I would like to extend my services to some small businesses with their logistics needs.

Irvin Trucking Services regulates under state, federal, and local law set forth by SAMHSA.
All employees hired at Irvin Trucking Services will undergo a basic background investigation of their criminal and credit histories to ensure that all employees are "reliable, trustworthy, of good conduct and character, and loyal to the United States". In addition, all positions that include access to sensitive information requires a security clearance. This clearance must is obtained to determine the employee trustworthiness and reliability before granting them access to sensitive information.
